"Crackers and Bagels": Josh Alan Interviewed on Virtual Memories
"Crackers and Bagels"
“I want my list of works to be lean and mean and everything was urgent and had to be done. Nothing to play the market. My family’s had to suffer for that, that I haven’t done commercial jobs just to bring home the bacon.”
Virtual Memories host Gil Roth shares a cup of coffee with Josh Alan at the Cafe Edison in Times Square; Josh takes his black. Recorded January 2014.

Biscontini Talks Comic Fest
"Absent any false humility, I have to say that, intellectually, sitting me next to Jerry Pournelle strikes me as a little bit like sitting Bugs Bunny, fresh out of a hole in the ground and noshing on a carrot, next to an F-16: each highly effective but in very different ways and contexts."
nu luna author Andrew Biscontini reports on San Diego Comic Fest, with guest appearances by Larry Niven, Jerry Pournelle, Greg Bear, Steven Barnes, Marv Wolfman and Eric Shanower. Plus photos by Wyatt Doyle. It's all happening now, over at AndrewBiscontini.com

"The Lord Will Make a Way Somehow" (w/ Brother Roland Payne) by Rev. Raymond Branch
Reverend Raymond Branch is joined on this recording by the late Brother Roland Payne on lead vocal. Roland Payne was a childhood friend of Rev. Branch's and in their youth, the two made up half of a Gospel quartet in Louisiana. A move to Los Angeles late in life reunited him with Rev. Branch, and it is from that era that this recording, "The Lord Will Make a Way Somehow," originates.

KSE's Bill Shute Reviews STOP REQUESTED
"Doyle presents these mini-dramas and mini-comedies and slices of urban life with a poet’s gift for the carefully-chosen detail and a playwright’s gift for dialogue that rings true yet has a sense of both menace and comedy, like what one would hear in an Edward Albee play. This is 21st Century America. Someone who wants to understand this age 100 or 200 years from now should read this book. It’s all here."
Poet and publisher Bill Shute of Kendra Steiner Editions reviews Wyatt Doyle and Stanley Jason Zappa's STOP REQUESTED.
